Encouraging Career Thoughts With Logo creator

School supplies and office supplies are what I like. If D "has" to go back to school, that means I don't need as much stuff at home for school but I can still get things for an office! I may start a business just so I have a reason to buy these things. Odd interest perhaps but it's mine.

VistaPrint has a lot of offerings, one is a Logo Design site that will be useful. Having to come up with a logo for your business really makes you narrow down exactly what you want out of the business, what do you want people to think of when they consider your company? Having a site like this helps a great deal. They not only help design business logos, VistaPrint is a leading online supplier of high-quality graphic design services and customized printed products to small businesses and consumers. Right now they have discounts on all sorts of things: sticky notes, postcards, shirts and hats with your logo, lawn signs, all kinds of things. (The shirts and hats could have your homeschool name on them!) They do announcements and websites too.

Since I'm trying to help D start seeing work as a necessity in his future, a fact he hopes to avoid :-), I may have him consider a business of his own and start by playing with logos. That will be a fun, non-threatening way to notice what draws attention and what sticks in someone's mind. Then we can gently, slo-w-w-l-y lead into what logo illustrates his own (work) interests. He has noticed how his own attention is caught and desires manipulated by advertising. What do you think? Good lead-in to helping him accept the fact that someday he'll have to work?
