When Do You Make Them Change?

It's time that D starts wearing pants with belt loops, he's got to learn to keep track of keys and a wallet. Three of my boys were adamantly against this, Long live pull-on comfortable pants! was their motto. His dad sent military camo pants that were not overwhelmingly too big but he wouldn't wear them. I've bought jeans, dress pants, everything I could find. Not a chance. I can't even use making him stay home if he doesn't have proper clothes because he doesn't like leaving the house anyway! I just think he'd better get used to man type things like a wallet pretty soon, I won't always keep his money in MY pockets. I've even forgotten at times that I had his and spent it and it STILL didn't persuade him.
