Steph's son did a science fair project, the whole thing was so cool. I want D to do one, he loves science. He doesn't like the thought of taking time to report his results, he just wants to find out what they are and move on from there, tweaking, changing the variables, continuing until he understands every nuance of the idea he's experimenting with.
If he ever truly becomes a scientist or engineer, he will HAVE to be used to and capable of recording his plans and findings in a usable way. It would have been good for him to go C's science fair and see all the possibilities. He didn't get to but at least he can see C's when he brings it home. He already knows what C's experiment was about and how he planned to carry it out. Now he needs to see the presentation results.
